My Story
Hello there! I’m Matthew, the wedding videographer behind Forever in Frame. Whether I’m shooting weddings or just out and about in my daily life, I always have my camera with me, experimenting with new angles and techniques. My love for video is what led me to create Forever in Frame.
When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy indulging in some of my hobbies, such as gymnastics, board games and volleyball.
I’m also an avid traveler, and find inspiration in exploring new cultures and capturing the beauty of different landscapes. Whether it’s hiking in the mountains or wandering through bustling cities, I’m always ready for an adventure.
It’s difficult to describe just how happy I am to have been given the opportunity to make this my life. I have been passionate about videography for so long. In the last 8 years I have found it so difficult to take the passion into a career because I am frankly obsessed with everything you can do with video.
There are so many avenues to pursue and I always thought I would land on whichever came first.
But then I realised a few things.

This is what drives me to create videos.

The ability to tell a story that actually means something to someone comes above all else

I want the people I work with to remember me, not just the video
Too often I think creatives are separated from their work, especially in wedding videography. I absolutely love the kind of relationships celebrants and wedding coordinators get to have with their couples and I don’t know why videography can’t be the same.
Every wedding is special and everyone deserves someone who cares. I cherish every single wedding I go to and I really do make the best video I can. Every. Single. Time.
I LOVE travel. I will take any chance I can get to just experience another part of the world. Either from simply driving a few hours inland or catching 45 hours of consecutive flights to make it across the world!
With videography as my passion, it only makes sense that when I can’t make a video, I take a photo. I don’t often have the chance to do photo work but it’s something I will always be working to improve.
Any reason to go all out on a costume is one I will take full advantage of. I especially love any wedding with really cool themes!
Playing board games with friends and family is absolutely one of my favourite ways to relax, be competitive or just have fun. I have been building my collection for around 8 years and while it’s short of a few classics and nowhere near as expansive as it could be, I’m still happy that I have such a variety of games at my disposal.
When i’m not fully booked out with weddings, I take every opportunity I can get to make new videos.
